Clay Impressions - Baby, Toddler & Families

We are absolutely delighted to offer such a beautiful bespoke offering that will fill your heart with so much gorgeous memorable moments to look at time and time again...

Baby, toddler & family imprints capturing hands and feet impression using soft white earthenware clay.

Each package includes tea or coffee for the parents and if needed, juice, biscuits, dancing, singing...as much love as needed to try and get the best impression of their hands and feet.

Depending upon the package, the 30 minute - 1 hour appointment we will be on hand to help parent by pressing the hand or foot into the clay...some babies and toddlers do not like the pressure feeling and as such we may not be able to achieve a deep impression.

We will keep trying as long as they are willing and happy to do so...

The clay is rolled out just before or at the time of the booking, to ensure the clay is fresh and avoid drying out and reduce the risk of cracking.

We have experienced staff that have worked several years with early years, baby's and toddlers and will try every trick to achieve your perfect creation...

Throughout this process we will continue asking if you happy with the impression.

Please let us know if you are not completely happy - We will not be offended, we just want you to be happy with this memory piece...

Once the appointment is over, we have a small window to clean up the edges, include imprinted letters, dates, holes etc and we will be unable to make changes if you have changed your mind regarding any impressions, as the clay will have begun its setting process.

What happens after the appointment?

We will ask you what details you would like, such as colour, lettering and holes for hanging.

We will allow approx. 2 weeks for the clay to dry, longer in wet periods before bisque firing.

Once fired, we will add the details you requested and pop in for glazing and final firing before your item is ready.

Please allow 6-8 weeks for the entire process.

This ultimate package is designed to cater for parents that want to also make sets for family members like grandparents...

Whats included?

This is a bespoke package, so it is best to come and speak to us about how we can encapsulate your family hand, foot and paw press...size and how many?

Do you want all the children on one plaque?  Not a problem

Do you want smaller plaques for grandparents? Not a problem

Do you want a certain shape, design, colour and bespoke lettering? Not a problem

1x XL print to capture upto 4x hands or feet family

2x Medium cast or 3x Small cast

As this is a large package and it is  not always easy to get everyone together and enthusiastic...the different castings can be done over several bookings if needed...We will always complete the large cast on the first appointment and see if the younger ones are up to continue, if not, we will arrange for another booking...

Important Info:

A deposit of £20 will be required at time of booking for any package.

We realise that events happen and quickly with little ones, so if your plans have to be changed at short notice, please contact us as soon as possible and we happily change the booking to alternative time and day.

If you have not told us, we reserve the right to keep the deposit and a new appointment will need to be made.

As we are working with a natural material and rolled by hand, the thickness, slight airline cracks that can form, imperfections are all what make it unique and bespoke to make such a beautiful memory piece and should be cherished.  We cannot guarantee machine like perfection.

The rare occasion that during the firing process, your piece is damaged, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange another appointment to make a new one.
